Digital Vs 35mm E-mail

Digital Vs 35 mm CameraDigital Vs 35mm Camera I have read a lot about the use of digital cameras in ghost hunting investigations. I think the digital camera is a good equipment to have on an investigation. One good use is instant pictures; you can upload your pictures instantly onto a computer. If there is anything questionable then you can go back to the said place and see what is going on there. We use digital and 35 mm camera's both on investigations.

I myself prefer the digital over the 35mm. Not because it's cheaper. But because it is less hassle you have no film to load, your not carrying around extra film for the digital camera. Also with the 35mm you have the hassle of getting the film developed. Where the digital it is done in seconds. I tend to like things simple.

Your Told to keep your negatives for prove of anomalies. When looking at the negative you're looking for the cause of the anomaly, a scratch, film developing error, dust, over exposures etc. With the digital you don't have most of those problems to look for so no need of the negative.

I think both cameras' work very well with ghost hunting if used properly. Below are some protocols for both cameras.

  1. Keep Hair tied back so your hair does not get in way of the lens and cause a false anomaly.

  2. Take all Straps off cameras or wrap them around your wrist so it won't get confused for a vortex.

  3. When cold out side say picture before taking picture this means everyone must hold there breathe for at least count of 10 then take picture. This will prevent getting any false anomalies.

  4. Make sure to clean your camera lenses before each investigation.

  5. Never take pictures when its foggy, raining, snowing, windy, dusty or hailing.

  6. Never take a picture into direct sunlight or where there is any light source.

  7. Don't take a picture of a window or Mirror. If you are trying to catch an image in a mirror or window make a special note what you are doing.

  8. 35 MM always keep negatives to check for scratches or other things.

  9. Make sure to tell the person that developing your film you want all your film developed even those they think are bad.

If you follow these protocols I think your digital or 35 mm camera should work out great for you.
