Case #1004-HF-MWM

Tuesday October 5 2004 Rick and Mel pulled up to the spot that was once a settlement.
This town sat along the a local river. The people would use the river to transport goods to trade with other places. When the river water level started to drop, the town was then moved next to the rail road, By J.V Brower which the town is named after today.


After pulling up and getting all the equipment ready. We heard a vehicle so we decided to stay in the van until they passed.  We went and started by asking permission to take pictures. At first we didn't notice too much, had been was really peaceful. The only noise we did hear was when walking across the bridge would cause it to make noises. It wasn't until Mel went to upload the camera onto the computer for the 3rd time that she felt something pull on her pant legs. When she turned around no one or anything was there. After this happen we started hearing rustling in the grass. On the side we parked there was nothing around but swamps. If the noise was caused by animals or not it is hard to say.
