Make sure you bring extra batteries for your flash lights. Spirits can and will drain the energy not only out of you but out of equipment and that means anything with batteries too. Bring cell phones encase of emergence. And if you have them walkie-talkies they can come in handy if your team or group splits up and you need to get in touch with them. And always make sure you have permission to go on the property before you get there. Pay attention as to how you feel while you are on the investigation at all times. If at anytime you start feeling sick or weak you need to leave right then, don't wait, get out. And don't start an investigation if you are tired to begin with. A first aid kit would not be a bad idea to have with you encase you did fall or get stung by something or whatever. But NEVER GO ALONE  and ALWAYS protect yourself by what ever method works best for you, be it a protective prayer, sagging, or both. This is VERY important. I know there are some that will go alone anyway so at least make sure that someone knows where you are going so that if you don't show back up they know where to start looking for you. It is always a good idea to say a protection prayer before you start and one when you are done to make sure nothing comes home with you. Always leave the place you investigate in as good or better condition then it was when you got there. Be respectful at all times. Most of this is just for safety. There is a lot more to know about hunting  Wink.

candles is another good item to have along incase run out of batteries. Just becareful with them not to cause fire. Buddy system i've found is best, not just for safety but better to have 2 witnesses if something happens then one.

I always have a lighter. Now I would like to see you start a fire with flint and rock LOL. I will stick to flashlights and lighters. Although I can make a fire with flint. Lighters are a lot easier  Cheesy.
