You don't have all of them on site.. You usually leave most of your supplies in Nuetral Area, place that is less likely to have activity. Then when batteries are drained etc you go back to that location and put more in. It's still possible all them could drain. But i have to admit i have yet to had that happen. Not to extra batteries anyways.

Another must is Jumper Cables.. Even better is Jump starter, there many times that during investigations we have had batteries go dead on vehicles.  Tools is another good thing have along to work on your car. It's also good to know about your car, we have had synoids go out, starters not working.

edibles are a good idea to pack in the car... dehydrated sort and water... just in case you get stranded
