NDE

Some people think that those who have had a NDE wake up being able to see and speak to spirits. And some people who have had NDE's say they can see and speak to spirits. I don't think all Dr.'s tell patients if their heart stops on the operating table either. So who's to say that there is not a connection to this somewhere. When I was a baby we had just moved to North Carolina and we did not know anybody. My dad was at work and I broke out with a very bad case of the red measles. My mother put me in the front seat of the car and was driving around trying to find the hospital. She saw someone and asked them where it was and as they were telling her I went into convulsions and stopped breathing. my mother said she started breathing in my mouth till I started breathing again. This happened again at the hospital. Now all my life I have been able to do a lot of things most people can not do. Was it because of this? I will never know for sure. I do know that all the women in my family can do this but I have it the strongest. And my daughter is getting there as we speak. But not all the other members of my family have had NDE before.

Well since it tends to run in my family anyway it may have made it stronger in me having had a few but it doesn't explain why my mother, her mother, and mother before her and their sisters had it and my sister has it and now my own daughter has it too. Now I can't say for sure what may or may not have happened to my grandmother or the ones before her as far as NDE's but I do know that my sister nor my daughter have ever had NDE before. But it would be interesting to find out about those who have if they all have some insight after having a NDE and how long they kept it. I have read about some that had some ability afterward for a short time and some for the rest of their life. I would like to hear from other people who have gone through this or know someone who has. I find it very interesting.

when i was a baby too i had a fever and i dont really know the whole story but my heart stoped 2 times i had to be brought back to life i have never realy thought about if it made me more able to be in touch with stuff but i know most of my famly is more in tune with spirtual world but very intersting Q

aww... Rick has had it three times, twice he was prounounced dead then came back surpising them all.  He is intuned pretty good he has learned to block it better then he use to. He has cause alot of problems for him in pass until he learned to block some of it.

 I blocked it for years. But it came back stronger then ever before.

He has learned to block it so doesn't affect him as bad..

My mom had a NDE giving birth (the baby, who would have been my older sister, didn't survive).  She has told the textbook story where she looked down at her body, all the blood everywhere and watched the doctors and nurses working on her. 

When I was little, I had what I called "floaty dreams".  I would have really vivid, colorful dreams (like flying over fields of flowers) and then when I "woke" I felt something cold on my cheek.  I realized it was the ceiling and I could look down on my body, still in bed.  Then, I would feel a pull down until I could open my physical eyes.  It might be easy to dismiss, but later in my 20s I found out I had been born with severe cardiac birth defects.  (I had to undergo surgery).  So I do wonder about those experiences.

Wow, makes you wonder if you had a heart attack at those times. If so you are lucky. Do you feel that your Mom's NDE made her more open to spirits and such?
