I really do not wish this on anyone.  I have been sick for almost a week now.  Started out that I thought it might just be a sore throat and tight chest from being out Saturday night smoking a lot because our group of friends went out to the bar that night.  Was I sure wrong!!!  I have such a sore throat that I can barely swallow and my lovely cough is something everyone I'm sure can hear thousands of miles from here.  No medicine seems to work and I can't go into the doctor because I don't have insurance.  Unless I plan on going to the ER which will cost me millions of dollars.  I really hope that I am un-sick by tomorrow (doubt it will happen) but there is a karaoke contest we have all be participating in and I want to partake in it! So I thought I would bother you with my gripe for the day!

No but if someone can tell me how to get rid of this and not be sick and have my cough not be so bad I would love them for life!  Since I was a little girl I had to have cough syrup with codeine in it and it still doesn't stop my cough!  I can try anything and it never works.  Like my Dad says I sound like a dieing seal! lol nice huh!   Tongue

Best thing in the world for coughs is called Delsym. Works for 12 hours. And if that don't work ain't nothing going to work. I made a true believer out of a friend of mine the other day with that stuff. And she was a TRUE skeptic LOL.

Have you seen the Dr? If had cough that long sounds like maybe you need to talk to a Dr. Maybe something else going on.
