Ghost Chatters

I don't like to complain about other sites, but as many you know my biggest pet peeve is people who treat people like they are better then them, who are very rude to others, or try to control them.
 
I had heard so many bad things about ghost chatters, but had never myself gone into the chatroom.  Until a friend who was a regular chatter there asked me to come and talk with her. I registered to the chat, made profile like they asked, got into the chatroom and said hi to my friend, next thing i know i seen trash can and was banned. Reason why i never got answer, all i could think of was on profile i had link to our site. 

The trash can it self is very degrading, if remember right as i have not gone back since then, was it was saying your trash and belong in the trash can.

This itself is the worst, just because you may have to ban some one does not mean they are trash..

I was searching the net one night looking for a place I could talk to someone about the paranormal and sadly I found Ghost Chatter. This was awhile back. I had never been in a chat  room before in my life and I was a nervous wreak. As soon as I got on there I read the rules and thought I understood them. I thought they were a little stiff but what did I know........I had never done anything like this before! So after I got up my nerve I entered the chat room. Well they told me before I could say anything I had to enter my profile. I had to ask them how to even do that LOL. After I got that figured out I went back in the chat room. They started drilling me on who I was where I was from how old I was etc. Then they had what they call story time. When they do that one person talks and no one else comments at all till they are done are you will get yelled at. Anyway I told a story of mine soon after that which they seemed to like. Shortly after that they were talking about something I don't remember but someone asks me an Indian question . It was about Genealogy. She had read my profile. She wanted to know if I would help her with hers and we were just talking. One of the other members got rude and said this is a pharanormal site!!!!! The person that started the Gen. questions with me to begin with was a long time member and if it was against some kind of rule you would think she would have known better! Anyway,,,,,,, I just told her if you want help with it just talk to me later about it out of here. She said OK. The next thing I know is I see a trash can saying I am banned!!!!!!! You are garbage. I was like WHAT? I tried to get back in the chat room thinking AOL had kicked me off line or something or the web site messed up. I e-mailed her 5 times telling her I was banned and didn't know what I did. I could still get on to the forums so since she would not mail me back I started a post on there called BANNED!!!!!  It got really popular LOL! So popular that she not only e-mailed me back but she deleted the post I started........althought another member started it back !. There is a rule she has that says you can not give another member your e-mail address. Which is what she said I did. I told her I did not give them my add. I told them to talk to me outside the chat room..........which meant in the forums read your own rule book!!!!!!!  But she never answered that e-mail and then I wasn't even aloud back on the web site at all LOL. Not that I cared. I guess I lasted about 15 min. in the chat room and about 3 days on the forums chewing her out along with about 9 other people who got banned for other stupid reason. I think we had more fun with the posts anyway. I noticed everytime she took it down someone new started it up again.

I was also banned from Genesta's chat room and I wrote this poem and posted on her site we had going under the topic called Banned.

BANNED FROM THE CHAT ROOM

I entered to chat for my very first time;
I tried to follow along with every single line.

I was so nervous like someone being put on trial;
Then someone asked me to put in my profile.

Well I figured that out and I sent it in;
Then I thought I met a few new friends.

Then someone who's been doing this alot longer then me;
Asked me a question, how harmful could that be?

Well low and behold the whole tone on this thing went bad;
My feelings got hurt, it was really kinda sad.

Then the subject was changed and I could breath again;
But soon for reasons unknown to me my time came to an end.

It says I am banned but I don't know what I could have done;
If it is AOL again the only person who can fix that for me is my son.

So my first and only chat visit could well be my last;
I'm 43 yrs old and sticks and stones will break my bones so I think I'll just pass.
