I agree.  I have actually had a reading done by a so called psychic (just for fun, and it was about 20 years ago) because I wanted to see if this woman could either answer any questions I had or maybe predict something.  Now this person charged no where near what Sylvia charges (I wouldn't have gone had she charged that much) and her reading was vague and general, and she tried to lead the reading by asking me a lot of questions but I figured out what she was doing so I wouldn't answer the way she wanted me to (which really frustrated her).  Her techniques were exactly as Fauss described and this is what I see Sylvia Brown doing.  I don't want to discredit Sylvia in any way, she has a gift, but maybe the money has clouded her ability to give a true reading, I don't know.  All I know is I don't enjoy her the way I use to.

 Well like I have said before, as long as you are always right you are the real deal in peoples eyes. Make a mistake or two and you are a fake. That is the way it has always been and will always be. Now if your brave or dumb enough(depends on how you look at it) to become a big wig on TV and charge an arm and a leg you better be 100% correct all the time! Granted she made one very BIG MISTAKE saying a child was dead when he was very much alive. And I have already stated how I felt about her. I guess people still expect to get what they pay for, no matter what it is or who they get it from. It shouldn't be about money. Sadly greed takes over and gifts I think or lost.

Hey... I never said she was the real deal lol. I hated her from the day I heard of her... and Ive felt the same way about all her ilk... A TV or Phone psychic is not a psychic, theyre a carnival sideshow in the butt crack of the universe... or so to speak lol

 I will give anyone benefit of the doubt for awhile. But it becomes quite clear before long what their true goals in life really are. I have never felt it was right to charge for a gift of this magnitude. To me it is just wrong and cruel to take advantage of other peoples grief by charging them money to find answers that may help them move on.  I can also see how someone with this gift can be overwhelmed by the responsibility of always needing to be right...........at least  it does with the ones who truly care about the people they are trying to help. I think the problem is you have more out there remaining silent because they are afraid of being wrong or ridiculed versus the ones out there that don't care making money off of people. Others I know will disagree with me and that's OK, but I do firmly believe that if you miss-use a special gift you are born with you can lose it.............one way or another! Things just have a way of biting you in the ...........well catching up to you in the end lets just say. Some call it Karma, others call it Justice.

That's cool, I've never read anything she has really written.. I did get one of her books free by email, and i read little bit of it.. What i read was interesting.
I think i may still have it somewhere.

I'm not saying i don't think she is psychic, all i say is i don't like her attitude, nor how much she charges people. IF she has the give then i can see maybe her using it for her benefit, but not to get rich off it and treat people the way she does.

I feel she is a good listener, and an entertainer. She missed her guess when she told a woman on tv with million of people watching her, that the woman's son is dead.  Turns out HE was ALIVE and found!   To put someone through that is a crime!

Yeah, i watched that on You tube..  I'm glad though that she was wrong.. Even though it put the parents through so much grieve.  I guess most people who disappear are found dead.  So i can see why she went with that.
