but her was my battle when the comercial would come on for he being on the show i would get a chill but watchinh the show i didnt get the chill untill it was about a lady with a problume about a haunting it was this lady who was having doors open and stuff the only message i got out of it was once you can identify the ghost you are better able to get rid of it i dont know if that the message im suppose to get or if it was somthing eles but the chills usaly seem to be for a reason

I really think some times over others we all get more intuned to other side. I think alot like a Radio station that may be hard to pick up. Some Radio's have no problems picking it up. Others have Little problems, Some pick up station once in while. Then some don't at all. It's not that they can't they just don't really try. Or they are allowing something to block it.

Maybe what ever you was doing, watching or just everything together made you more intuned during that time.

I assume you mean that there was a lady on her show that had this happen and you got a chill and heared or felt you knew the answer to her problem...........right?  A priest will tell you that in order to get rid of a demon you have to know its name. Maybe thats what you were connecting to. A chill can be brought on by any number of reason. I have watched a scary movie on TV and done that too, I think a lot of people have. I can tell someone about their loved one and I have heard them say "you just gave me chills". If something hits home with you are you feel scared or very surprised at something it can give you chills. I have watched these types of programs like that and felt I knew why it was going on. I am right? I don't know.

I have watched Sylvia on Montel many, many times just to get a better feel of what she is all about.   On a personal level, I don't like her character for the same reasons everyone else has listed her.  I don't like the fact that she charges fantastical amounts of money for what she does any more than the rest of you.

Sylvia is on Montel every Wednesday.  I have watched her every week for a year.  This is what I've found.  Yes, what she tells people is quite general most of the time.  Audience members ask questions that have no way of substantiating the answers i.e. "do I have a guardian angel?",  "Does my dead (place family member name here) have anything to tell me?" (to which her answer is almost always "Yes, they say they are happy and they love you").  However on a few occasions an audience member has asked the name of their spirit guide and on three, seperate unrelated occasions her response was "your spirit guides name is Ella".  Coincidence that the name was repeated or is Ella a highly common name for spirit guides?  On a number of occasions she has come up with names for audience members questions and the audience members don't have a freakin clue who what she's talking about.  In the year I've been watching there has yet to be a Montel show with Sylvia where audience members come back to share the truth of her predictions.

As a layman sensitive, even I can produce quite a list of individuals who would be happy to provide testimonials to my accuracy.

The huge majority of the predictions she has made for the year ahead at the end of each year is based on simple research or so general or so much a given that I believe any well schooled individual could safely make the same predictions.

Besides her claims that all orbs are Angels she has claimed that there are no such things as Demons.  Angels but no Demons?  Hmmm.  Yin with no Yang?  Interesting.  However she does claim that there are evil entities.

I believe that she may have been sensitive at some point but if she was, because of her abuse of the gift she has lost it.

Doesn't she charge like over $500 just for a phone reading? It's like an hour long. I saw it on her website. I mean I love Sylvia, I don't know why! I used to DVR Montel just on Wednesday so I could watch, now I have gotten out of that habit, I also used to DVR Family Guy, so it's not saying too for her. LOL! Either I believe some of the things she says is fairly on the nose, but there have been a few things she has said that make me question her abilities. She is pretty vague with some of her answers which worries me, if she were a real medium she'd be able to give more clear answers. And since she's claimed to have been doing this for decades really worries me, if she were just NOW getting into her abilities I'd understand, but not what she claims as decades of experience!!!

Yeah. And I don't know.......its her attitude that gets to me sometimes. Almost down right rude in the way she comes across. Maybe its just me.

It's called "COLD READING," basically you use deductive reasoning and leading questions to give a question the questioneer wants. Plus, the stage is probably lined with microphones so Sylvia can get a good idea of who to answer and how to answer ahead of time.
I'm sure I said this before, but to reitterate... How can someone so biblical believe in angels and not demons? The bible makes mention of demons.

omg wow i didn't even know that this was in here or i would have wrote about this a long long time ago.  I dislike this woman SO SO SO much!  Sorry there may be some people that do like her but this is just my personal opinion.  Watching this woman makes me very very aggravated.  She searches for the answers its funny!  I watched her on a local TV show the other day and I am telling you it was funny.  She started of by talking to a woman who said that her father had died and that she wanted to know if he raped her and if he was sorry for the things he did if it was true.  It was funny because Sylvia just couched her along.  Asking questions that almost anyone could say yes to.  By the time she was done with this one woman I felt like throwing my remote through the tv screen! I believe that there is a gift out there for people like this but still you dont just couch someone through your questions by asking plain simple questions anyone could answer.  Thats why i dont like her!
